Tax debt help is available for IRS or state balances. Whether you’ve already received a CP503 or LT11, or want to address the issue earlier, we can help you understand what comes next.

Tax Debt After a Major Financial Event

Selling a home, taking an early 401(k) withdrawal, or realizing a large investment gain can create an unexpected tax bill. In some cases, the problem starts because not enough tax was withheld along the way.

1099 and Self-Employment Tax Debt

When taxes aren’t withheld from your income, it’s easy to come up short at tax time. We see this with freelancers, linemen, truckers, and sole proprietors who are current on other obligations but still owe the IRS.

Federal or state Wage Garnishment

A garnishment comes out of your paycheck before you receive it. It can continue until the tax debt is addressed, or another resolution is put in place. That can quickly put pressure on your day-to-day finances.

Trust Fund Recovery Penalty

A business’s payroll tax debt can become personal through the Trust Fund Recovery Penalty, even after the business has closed. Getting experienced representation early can help you understand your exposure and available options.

FAQS

Common Questions About irs Debt relief Help

Answers to common questions about cost, IRS communication, unfiled returns, levies, garnishments, and what it’s like to work with us.
How much will resolving my tax debt cost?

It depends on your case. After a no-cost, no-obligation consultation, you’ll receive the proposed strategy and fee in writing before deciding whether to move forward. The fee covers the scope of work outlined in your agreement. Additional work outside that scope may involve an additional fee.

Will I have to talk to the IRS myself?

No. We handle all communication with the IRS and state taxing authorities on your behalf. We’ll let you know exactly what we need from you.

What if I haven’t filed returns in several years?

That’s common and can usually be addressed as part of the resolution process. In most cases, past-due returns need to be filed before a resolution can move forward, even if you can’t pay the balance right away.

Can you stop a wage garnishment or bank levy?

Often, yes. Depending on the circumstances, a levy or garnishment may be prevented, released, reduced, or appealed. We review the facts, timing, and your rights to determine the best path forward.

How is this different from other tax relief companies?

Every case goes through two levels of review before we finalize a strategy. You receive that strategy and the fee in writing before you commit. A licensed professional handles your case from the start.
